"Low Fat Flaxseed Chocolate Chip Cookies" Recipe

Ingredients
- 18 tbsp flaxseed
- 6 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup fat-free buttery spray (i.e. "Olivo" or "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter")
- 3 tbsp canola oil
- 1 and 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- dark chocolate chips (as many as desired, roughly 1/2 cup)
Directions
- FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY :)
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, and cornstarch; set aside
- In a separate bowl, combine flaxseed, brown sugar and granulated sugar
- Using a mixer on low speed, add egg and vanilla
- Blend in buttery spray and canola oil on low speed
- Mix in flour mixture gradually with mixer
- Add in chocolate chips
- Scoop onto greased cookie sheet (this is important as the recipe lacks butter)
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until edges are slightly browned
- Allow 5 minutes to cool and remove from cookie sheet
- Enjoy these DELICIOUS and HEALTHY cookies with a glass of low-fat or fat-free milk!
