To perform a set of lying tricep extension - skull crusher:
Lie on your back on a bench, knees bent and feet on the floor, holding a barbell with a pronated grip shoulder width apart. Straighten your arms so the barbell is above your chest before shifting the barbell to a starting position over your eyes.
Without changing the angle of your arms relative to your body, bend your elbows to slowly lower the barbell toward your forehead.
Pause at the bottom position for a 1 sec count while gripping the barbell firmly and maintaining tension.
Without changing the angle of your arms relative to your body, raise the barbell up until your arms are fully extended. Remember to breathe normally throughout the entire movement.
Repeat steps 1 through 4 until you have completed the desired number of lying tricep extension - skull crusher repetitions before resting.
